As a brand new property we were tasked by Amazon to bring the fun, irreverent and magical/surreal sensibilities of the show to the social campaign. We created an aggressive schedule of content, for the first season, specifically targeted and cross-populated on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Going all out with the enthusiasm and inventiveness of the kids in the show we created content that would delight children and parents alike.
We definitely succeeded in our task by creating quirky posts such as building messaging out of food, recreating props from the show, videos, crafts, and highlighting the delightful, off-the-wall sense of humor of the cast and writing, while being able to showcase the warmth and magical sense of the show. Gortimer Gibbons: Life on Normal Street, has turned into one of Amazon’s most popular original shows for kids, and been renewed for a new season.
